Affiliate Receives $245,000 Anonymous Donation
The Florida Suncoast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure was the recipient of the largest single donation in its history when an anonymous donor allowed his fully-restored 1969 Camaro custom coupe to be sold to the highest bidder at the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Collector Car Auction. Donated in memory of Lois Haberkamp, the vehicle appraised at $180,000 after being restored by P.J. Davis of Chimera Customs, Inc., in Palm Harbor. A very special thank you goes to our donor, the Chimera Customs team, duPont Registry, and Barrett-Jackson Auction for making the donation possible.
